First and foremost, Pascal Gemme is the fiddler, composer and arranger for the internationally renowned Quebecois trio Genticorum.

For the last 15 years, Pascal has been searching for seldom-heard songs and melodies, while also interpreting his own compositions in his unique, unmistakable style.  Traditional Quebecois music is a part of his DNA. Pascal has played with, been inspired and collected the music of many great Quebecois singers and fiddlers. From his early childhood, Pascal heard his grandfather and godfather play this music.  He shares the music with students in Montreal in weekly classes and teaches around the world, from Ireland (Irish World Academy of Music and Dance in Limerick) to Australia (Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club) and of course the U.S.A (Festival of American Fiddle Tunes, Alasdair Fraser’s Sierra Fiddle Camp, A Prairie Home Companion cruise).

He has produced a variety of musical projects for his peers and is a studio musician for commercial radio and television.
